Wilson Bowden Developments, in partnership with Rushcliffe Borough Council are underway with building fifteen light industrial units, ranging in size from 750 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft at Hollygate 46, Cotgrave (Nottingham).
The units range in size from 750 to 1,750 square feet and provide excellent quality warehousing with roller shutter door situated in a shared and secure yard area with private parking.
The estate also benefits from fantastic transport links to Nottingham, Newark on Trent and Leicester and is located in close proximity to both the A46 and A52 dual carriageways, the latter giving good access to Nottingham's Ring Road and the M1 Motorway.
The commercial units are being delivered as part of a 34-acre mixed use regeneration scheme on a former colliery site which closed in the early 1990s. In a wider partnership with the HCA, Rushcliffe Borough Council and our colleagues at Barratt and David Wilson Homes, the overall scheme will create a sustainable new community and will bring much needed new homes, jobs and investment to the local area.
The commercial units on Hollygate 46 are due to be completed in July and will be let by RBC on flexible lease terms at market rates to local businesses. The council secured £1.8m in growth deal funding from the D2N2 local enterprise partnership (LEP) in 2015 for the project, which aims to meet market demand.
The adjacent 470 homes are Hollygate Park are being development by Barratt and David Wilson Homes, and are due for completion in 2020.
