FHP Property Consultants and M1 Agency have let a 24,000 sq ft unit at Blenheim Park to an undisclosed pet food manufacturer.
The deal is the third the firms have completed for Urban Logistics REIT in recent months and follows hot on the heels of the letting of 81,000 sq ft to Australian fashion giant Cotton On Group.
Blenheim Park is situated near Junction 26 of the M1 in Nottinghamshire and comprises four speculatively developed manufacturing and distribution units built by Wilson Bowden. There is now just one 43,000 sq ft unit remaining after the agencies completed deals to bring Cotton On and family-owned food distributor All Shires Foods to the site.
John Barker, head of development at Urban Logistics Reit, said: "The funding venture with Wilson Bowden Developments has worked well and they have completed the buildings to a high standard.
"The East Midlands element of the portfolio was recently completed so early lettings is testament to the tenant demand in the market."
Chris Proctor, FHP said: "It was a pleasure to deal with our new occupier here and their investment in the building will no doubt create success and new jobs for the region. This is the third letting we have now completed on the site and we only have one unit left available of just over 43,000 sq ft which is immediately available on a new lease."
Olivia Salisbury, asset manager at Urban Logistics REIT, said: "We're delighted to have let the third unit in the scheme so quickly after practical completion. This is testament to the quality of the units built by Wilson Bowden and their contractors, Glencar and the location of the scheme, so close to J26 of the M1 and Nottingham city centre."
Toby Wilson at M1 Agency added: "We our down to the last unit on Blenheim Park, which is a credit to the quality and location of these units. The remaining 43,000f sq ft unit, is the only immediately available Grade A warehouse within Nottingham of its size range currently, so we would urge occupiers to come forward before it is too late."
